Well, the hyenas messed up, because you see, Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed put Zazu in the "cauldron" and shot it far away, and they got a kick out of it. What they didn't know was that they sent him straight to the Pride Lands, where Mufasa spotted him and Zazu told him everything. From here, Mufasa traveled to the graveyard with Zazu to rescue Simba and Nala.
